In today’s world, living a less toxic life is important to many of us to maintain a healthy home in a world where harsh chemicals are literally everywhere. In an effort to lower the toxic load in our homes, we’ve ditched the harsh chemicals for nontoxic cleaners. The only issue is…we still love fall and holiday home scents. However, there is no need to compromise the cozy fall scents just because we’ve become more health conscious. If you feel this way, then this list is for you!

Find Safer Fall Cleaning Products

Using safer cleaning products is a challenge for me because like many others, during the fall season I enjoy the feel and smell of cozy warm scents. Resisting the many toxic products that smell delicious and fall-like becomes harder.

And yes, fall doesn’t revolve around buying new cleaning products or room sprays, it’s simply a refreshing treat to change up your everyday scents.

There were not as many options as I would like, but after scouring several websites I was able to find some safer cleaning products with fall scents available.

Please remember that every product label has different claims for safety. Some products are less toxic than others. Please read the labels and reviews if you are new to a brand. Depending on your level of comfort, these items may or may not be right for you and your health.

Safer Fall Scent Cleaning Products

One of the easiest fall cleaning products to find in-store and online is Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Multi-surface Everyday Cleaner. Fall scents include Acorn Spice, Apple Cider, Fall Leaves and Mum.

Free from parabens, phthalates, artificial color, and glycol solvents.

I have not tried Grove Co. Multi-purpose Cleaner fall Collection yet, but have heard good things about the brand. Scents offered are Wild Currant & Oak Apple and White Pumpkin & Ginger. If you like these scents, they also sell laundry sheets.

Free of dyes, phthalates, and parabens

Zum offers an All Purpose Cleaner in Spiced Citrus.

Made with saponified coconut oil, essential oils, alcohol

Seventh Generation Foaming Dish Spray Honey Crisp Apple. While this one isn’t necessarily an exclusive fall scent, I believe it’s a fresh scent that also reminds me of fall.

Free of gluten & phosphate (I have used this several times and was pleased with how well it cleans, but I am now surprised it isn’t at least paraben free, so I am now iffy on repurchase.)

Palmolive Ultra dish soap fall scents include: Warm Spice and Apple Orchard. Palmolive is an old-school brand and it cleans really well. This cleans very well.
