The best diapers for toddlers are diapers that are super absorbent, hypoallergenic, and fit well. Compared to when your child was an infant, they’ll be drinking more liquids and eating more food. That means filling diapers much more than before!
Toddlers are constantly on the go. They’re always playing, rolling, jumping, and dancing around. Your go-to diaper needs to be able to move with them and absorb any possible messes.
Hypoallergenic diapers keep your toddler’s skin happy, by staying irritation and rash-free.
The Best Diapers for Toddlers
1. Huggies Little Movers – (Best Diapers for Toddlers)
These diapers are my favorite. They’re thick, super absorbent, and skin-friendly. They fit my son perfectly. This diaper is perfect for your little mover. Once your little one starts moving around, quality diapers are a must.
I highly recommend these diapers for everyday life, car rides, and shopping trips. Huggies little movers won’t leave you with embarrassing leakages. The dry-touch liner is a bonus that most diapers don’t offer. If your child has gone in their diaper it will not feel cold or wet like some cheaper brands.
Honestly, I give them a perfect score! The only drawback is they are quite expensive. As wonderful as it is, the cost is more than most diapers including a lot of eco-friendly diapers.
My Rating: 5 Stars
Pros:
- Double grip strips, contoured leg protection, dry-touch Liner, leak-guard Barriers, soft Back Pocketed waistband
- 12-hour absorbency

2. Millie Moon Luxury Diapers – (Best Diapers for Toddlers)
These are a great runner-up to Huggies Little Movers. Millie Moon diapers are cloud-soft and super absorbent. I use these with confidence as they are Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX and include no synthetic fragrance.
I love these diapers for my son. These are another diaper that seems to wick the moisture away from the skin and keep your little one feeling dry longer.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star is that I don’t think the fit/contour is quite as good as Huggies Little Movers.
My Rating: 4.5 Stars
Pros:
- 12-hour absorbency
- Wetness Indicator
- Cruelty-free, Synthetic fragrance-free, Clean,
- Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX

3. Huggies Snug & Dry – (Best Diapers for Toddlers)
These diapers are very similar to Huggies Little Movers. They do really well with leak protection, absorbency and have a good fit.
I have bought these diapers many times. The biggest differences between these and Little Movers are:
- Price – these Huggies cost less
- Sizing – Snug & Dry fit a little more “snug” than Little Movers. When my son wears these he has less room for growing than in Little Movers.
- Fit – not as many features for a tailored fit.
Overall, they’re a great choice for toddlers!
My Rating: 4 Stars
Pros:
- Triple Layer protection, contoured shape, dri-touch Liner
- Wetness Indicator
- 12-hour absorbency

Cons:
- Fit is not as tailored as some other options.
Cost: Approximately $0.52/per diaper – However the bigger the pack, the cheaper the diapers. Buying a box can bring the cost down to approximately $0.32/per diaper.
4. Bambo Nature Eco-Diapers – (Best Diapers for Toddlers)
These eco-friendly diapers are so gentle for your toddler’s skin. These are a great option for toddlers with skin allergies. They are made without harsh chemicals and preservatives. Just like the diapers are clean and simple, so are the design. They feature the words “Love like no other”.
The best part about these diapers is they’re fully breathable, which helps prevent rashes and skin irritation. This diaper is super soft and fits well. They absorb very well and are certainly worth trying out.
These diapers fit my son well. I find that the absorbency is great and they are durable. Much more so that I would have thought for a eco diaper. I have used this brand several times now.
