Christmas Toy Gift Ideas for 1-Year-Olds:

Battan Wooden Activity Cube

My son loves this activity cube and has been playing with it for about three months. It reminds me of the activity cubes in the doctor’s office, when I was growing up. It has 5 sides that include spinners, a bead maze, doors to open, mix and match puzzles and a zig zag racetrack. There is so much to do, your 1-year-old can play and learn for hours without getting bored! This toy is sturdy as it is made of solid wood. It will last as long as your little one wants to play with it. It’s a great toy for learning hand-eye coordination and cause-and-effect.

 SmarTrike Breeze Toddler Tricycle

Give your toddler a fun ride and help develop motor skills with this multi-stage tricycle for toddlers. This bike can grow with your child. At 15 months you can go for walks and push your toddler. This allows you to remain in control while your toddler enjoys the ride. They can learn to hold the handles and put their feet on the motionless pedals. My son is still on this stage and he loves it! When we go fast it guarantees his laughter every time. The harness makes sure he’s safe even if he lets go of the handlebars. He’ll get a lot of use out of this in the next couple of years.  It seems far off, but time passes quickly and he’ll be riding by himself in no time. This toy is great for learning cause & effect and balance.

 Fisher Price Xylophone

Fun, musical toy, recommended for ages 18 months to 5 years old. Although the bottom is made of plastic, its a durable toy that can grow with your child. My son is 15 months and he enjoys making this xylophone ring.  The four wheels and string make sure your child doesn’t lose the mallet and can also tug the toy along with them just about anywhere. The xylophone helps to develop hand-eye coordination and gross motor skills.

Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Wagon

Last year, I bought this for my son for Christmas. He didn’t start using it until he was 12 months, but he truly enjoys it. His favorite part is dropping the shapes into the wagon. He hasn’t got to the point of pulling it behind him yet, so there’s still so much to learn! It has music, lights and songs for kids to enjoy. You can set the audio to three different stages of learning! This makes a great Christmas gifts for 1-Year-Olds.
